  • Responsible for the members of the team to be proficient in rhythm recognition, abnormal urgent rhythm issues.
  • Maintaining proper function of all implantable device and external diagnostic monitoring equipment for in office visits
  • Maintaining proper function of all remote service equipment and portals
  • Maintains adequate communication with all of the medical device company vendors
  • Maintain proper scheduling of all patients with orders for remote diagnostic services
  • Oversees all remote websites for diagnostic equipment and remote monitoring of implanted devices
  • Responsible for maintaining appropriate scheduling of all remote services within the billing guidelines
  • Assists in ensuring appropriate billing for services of the Clinical supervisor
  • Reports any clinical issues directly to the Clinical supervisor
  • Ensures adequate staffing for scheduled procedures/monitoring/evaluation
  • Maintains adequate stock of all necessary equipment that is required for proper operation of the device clinic
  • Maintains open communication between staff and Clinical Supervisor
  • Assists Clinical Supervisor with cultivating an efficient and safe environment for both the staff and the patients in the device clinic
  • Promotes teamwork among coworkers and performs other duties as assigned
  • Maintains strict patient confidentiality consistent with Stony Brook HIPPA Guidelines
  • Supports NSC's mission to provide a patient centered friendly environment with excellent compassionate care
