Urgent Care Office Manager Job – NY, Setauket

Job Summary:

The Office Manager is the onsite manager responsible for the day-to-day operations of the practice. The Office Manager reports to the Director of Operations.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversees daily office operations.  Identifies and resolves operational problems.
  • Supervises assigned personnel.  Reconciles employee time cards
  • Prepares payroll for employees.
  • Assists with hiring and training of assigned staff.
  • Oversees and maintains Providers schedules. Adjusting the schedules based on changes making sure all patients are rescheduled.
  •  Overseeing the daily operations of the Front Desk and Medical Assistant department.
  • Overseeing medical records request.
  • Opening mail and organizing invoices/packing slips
  • Answering billing emails from billing manager in regards to missing information, coding issue, etc.
  • Ordering supplies for offices and maintaining stock of supplies.
  • Travel to other locations if need be to help manage multiply locations.
  • Can fill in as medical assistant and front desk if need be.
  • Can do prior authorizations if need be.
  • Maintains patient confidentiality.
  • Performs other related duties as directed or required.
