Key responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive evaluations to determine the causes of physical impairments and develop individualized rehabilitation plans.
Create and manage treatment plans that may include medication, therapeutic exercise, injections, and assistive devices.
Lead and coordinate care with a team of healthcare professionals, such as physical therapists, occupational therapists, and speech-language pathologists.
Perform specialized diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, which can include:
Electromyography (EMG) and nerve conduction studies
Ultrasound-guided and fluoroscopy-guided injections
