Medical Assistant/Surgical Technicians are responsible for providing clinical, laboratory, and clerical support in outpatient settings, such as clinics and laboratories while assisting with patient care by preparing patients for procedures and maintaining a sterile environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist physicians with patient care and procedures

• Record vital signs and gather patient data
• Perform basic laboratory procedures
• Provide clerical support, including scheduling, answering phones, and managing records
• Prepare the operating room and surgical instruments

• Assist with patient positioning and prep for procedures
• Maintain a sterile environment and perform surgical scrub techniques
• Handle and document surgical specimens
• Clean, restock, and ensure operating room efficiency
